I rode on a trail that was extremely dusty this past weekend, truck ran fine during trail rides and on the way home. Yesterday due to the dust, I decided to do some mx. I removed the K&N, cleaned and reoiled, washed out the airbox, removed and washed out the hose from the airbox to the intake, removed the stepper motor and cleaned, removed the sensor next to the stepper for access (choke plate position sensor?), and cleaned the choke plate and intake with cleaner. After I reassembled, now the idle is at around 1800 RPM. Any ideas? 96 Disco, 4.0, 90K. Thanks Jeff |

I've have heard that that choke cleaner has been known to screw with sensors. |
