replace rotor/cap and all wires there is enough moisture in the air to stop you. BTDT |

Move to Phoenix, it's only rained twice this year. Or, check you cap/rotor. Probably the cap, all or most of your plug wires would have to be bad before it wouldn't start (so that's probably not your problem), but always a good idea to check and replace if need be. |

Could be the multi function unit. What do you think guys? It's a black box on the passenger's side fender well, wedged between fender/washer fluid jug. They are pretty notorious for leaking and doing weird stuff like that. Make sure the cover is on it good. I believe it is held on by two clips. Make sure thay are both there. It could even be your under hood main fuse box going bad, but I kinda doubt it. Rotor/cap is an easier, try it first kinda fix though. Mark |

Had similar problem with my 96. The main relay unit (black box on passenger side next to washer jug) crapped out. Replaced it and works great. I pulled the old unit apart and found that the inside was corroded, which eventually cause the relay to burn out leaving me stranded. good luck |
