I am thinking about installing disconnects on my front and rear sway bars and I want to know what happens after I disconnect the bars at the trail head. Do the bars just hang there or do you have to push them up and secure them or take them off. As you can see I dont have a clue!

I don't know about the front, but the rear will hang down so you hook a bungie cord on each end and loop it over your rear hitch.

While we are on this topic I have a question as well. I have new CB Sway bar disconnects on the front of my D1. I was told not to disconects until I got longer brake lines. Is this true? If so, what do I need to get?

On the front, mine has enough tension in where it is clamped on that I just swivel it up and it stays there.

I bungee cord the rear to the trailer tie down eye.

Neil, what type of lift/springs you running? It all depends on that. I don't know what the max lift and extension is before needing the extension, however, maybe somebody else will if you post.

It really depends on the length of your shocks. The spring up front is unretained, so it's the shock that limits the travel of your axle. If the OME shocks are the same length (extended length) as the stock shocks, then you don't need longer brake lines.

Thanks,
Mike B.
