Went to take my tire off to change brake pads and the POS LR wrench broke in half! What size do I need and where can I get one? What are the chances of LR replacing the broken one?

Thanks,
James

James, when at home I use a 1/2" drive ratchet with an extension and 1 1/16" socket.

Auto Zone 2 foot breaker bar ($10) and 1 1/16 Socket.

The same damn thing happened to me when I had a flat.

Dang, I thought I posted here last night....

The 4-way is good because it is easier to break tight lugnuts loose. But, it's a bit of a pain to carry in the Disco, if you're the kind that worries about 'em flying around the cabin in case of a rollover.

So, I've got a 4-way, but it stays at home, and gets used when I'm working. To carry for emergency use, I got one from the Thatched Roof Garage. Big beefy thing, same as most of the other Rover places sell. It's nice because it'll slip into the carrier under the rear seat, replacing that factory POS that twisted up when I tried to break a tight lugnut loose.

I still have that factory one, BTW, if anyone wants it.... lol.... it's kinda funny to pull it out and hand to someone because at first glance it looks fine, but then you notice the angle on the head is a little off, then you start to notice the spiral where the head twisted around... lol....
