I am thinking about purchasing an ARB Roof Rack for my 92 RR, but I am not sure if it is going to fit in my garage with it on. Can anyone that has an ARB provide me with the side height of the rack itself and and maybe the total height from the vehicle roof to the top of the roof rack. Thanks! |

I have seen them on 4x4connection but they only show the lenght and width not side height. I am pretty sure the rack for the disco and RR are similar and all that change are the gutter installation kits. Dee, I don't know think the measurement you have is going to help but the actual side height of the rack only might help in estimating how much clearance I will have. I will give 4x4connection a call and see if they can provide more info. Thanks. http://www.4by4connection.com/rangerover3.html |

Alan, The official word from ARB about the Load, "ARB Roof Racks are designed to carry 100kg ((221,lb)) - 150kg ((331,lb)) of evenly distributed weight, depending on the model, and are available in 2 sizes 73" x 43" and 49" x 43" sizes, with or without mesh." The 73" x 49" (1850mm x 1250mm) weighs about 120 lbs (54 kilos) The measurement will help its from the gutter lip to the top rail of the rack ill check tonight when i get home but i belive its 13" |
