Does anybody have experience with the manufacturer Trek Outfitters? I am most interested in this:

How do their bumpers compare to ARB , $G, and others? I really like the look of their offering.

Not sure how they compare yet....but how hard can it be ? Call Matt and ask him about the sturdiness compared to ARB\Safarigard. I'm going to buy a rear bumper from them as soon as I sell a few of my items.

Well, Not only did I wheel with him at Moab during OTR, I had a fancy dine-out dinner with Matt (Who *is* Trek Outfitters) and few others at Moab. He had excellent trail and dinner manners.

A guy... was his name Ken?.. bought one of his rear bumpers at OTR. Matt and he worked like a dog to install the bumper. ken really loved the bumper, and apparently tested it the very next day.

You might want to jump over to Disco2owners group over at Yahoo. There is an interesting exchange going on right now about Matt's bumpers vs the ARB.

Couldn't tell you how the bumpers compare (other than price; Matt's do run higher), but I have one of Matt's front bumpers for DII and I've been satisfied with it; saved me from body damage a couple of times.

He's a nice guy and I was pleased with the service I got.

I have no experience with the bumpers but feel as though a $1000 is too much for a standard bumper.

Niether am I thrilled by the design. It looks like an ugly attemtp to copy ARB.
