What is a reasonable cost for adding the wiring for a small Sea-Doo trailer. I have a flat 4. The dealer wants to install a delux conection for $469!!!! |

If you don't mind splicing the wires yourself go to Uhaul...under $20 bucks! More info can be had in the TECH section of this site or by searching the archives. That's very rediculous what that stealership is charging you. Who and where is this ? -glenn |

Sorry for the old topic. I did a search on wiring and found very little. The Tech article was a little daunting with the conversion box, etc. |

I just did this. You need a flat 4 converter for a vehicle with independent turn signals (ie amber signals, like most foreign cars), a test light, and some electrical tape. Test the pins on the end of the factory plug, find your brake, each signal, and running lights. splice them into the 4 wire converter. Get a ground somewhere. Flat 4 plugs into that. The leftover wires on the stock harness aren't needed for anything. I wasn't even sure what they are all for. Seemed to be an extra running light feed, that I didn't use. DON'T go to the dealer for this one! |
