I have a '95 Disco and I've put on OME springs all around, 751 and 762's. Do you recommend changing the radius arms on this moderate a lift? Should I be experiencing any wandering at highway speeds? Are there any other things that one should do when replacing the springs? I'm not sure if it's wandering more with the lift than before because I changed the springs as soon as I got the truck. |

Not really. I think the money would be better spent on a front trutrac but usually it can be cured with the following: Check your steering damper and especially your swivel ball preload. I think I wrote how to do it once so maybe look in the archieves. Ron |

Thanx Ron, but excuse my ignorance what's a trutrac? Who sells it? I'm kinda new to this so bear with me, LOL. I also planned on relocating the steering dampener, so when I do I'll also upgrade to an OME. I'll check out my swivel ball preload though, Thanx. |

a tru trac is a limited slip differential. when you put one in the front it has stronger "self centering" which helps with the wandering. EE, GBR sell them, as well as any place that sells lockers Rosser, WCD, Randi's R&P etc. Ron |

JRoc, I am going the True Track in the front and The Detroit in the rear. After reading the various posts on the subject and talking with John Lee this seemed the best approach for my needs. I did change out the rear trailing arms for a decent set from Rockware. There a medium duty build, excellent quality and value. I would like to find a modified leading arm but not a chop and weld one like what is out there now. To bad the $G 3 link did not become more refined I did like its concept. |
