Anybody with these on their rig? How's handling and noise? Is it much quieter than the stock Michelin XPC? Since I plan to have a second set of dedicated off-road tires & wheels, I would like the tires for my on-road set to be as smooth riding and as QUIET as possible. I'm asking about the Contitrac SUV because Tirerack is running a special right now on the 235/70-16 size for only $46 a piece, nearly half the price of the next size up, 245/70-16 for $85!. |

I paid $456 for my set of 4 Mich. Is it smooth? Its a truck. I am not sure on Contitrac, but Continentals are stock on BMW and Mercedes. Bottom line, you cannot go wrong with a set of good solid quality tires for less than $200. My 3 choices are Continental, Mich. and BFGoodrich. I would not mess around with anything else. |
