When I am traveling on the Highway and generally fast speed 75+ I tend to hear a noise from the engine and I think the car is a little loud. Anyone have any knowledge of anything relating to this. It is a 02 Discovery 2. |

Many comments on this, what seems to be another Disco quirk. I get the same thing on my 02, sounds like a whistling noise. I just turn up the radio and ignore it. I am happy if everything is working and I can enjoy the ride, a little noise at 75+ is a minor price to pay. I have had mine since Nov 01 and knock wood, the only other things wrong are an occasional double clicking of the unlock on the remote to disengage the alarm so the car will start and I needed to tap on the clock to get the light to come back on, advice taken from a fellow poster to this board. All in all, can't complain. |
