for those that remember, i was complaining of vibes occuring between 60-70 mph. i had everything looked at and still couldn't find the problem. well, i took it back to where i bought the tires (NTB) since i had 2 shops tell me that it had to be the tires. NTB looked at it a discerned that i had a bent rim up front and that was the culprit. why they missed this fact the other 3 times they had balanced the tires is beyond me. anyway, the vibes are gone, but i still have a bent rim which makes rotating difficult. i guess it's time to shop for some black steelies. anybody know a good and cheap place to get some? |

If you don't want to lay out the $$ for new steel wheels - you can have the alloy repaired. I bunged up one of mine and it was about $70 to have it repaired. Seems like with the low-profile craze, there are plenty of shops now doing alloy repair work. Good Luck Bill |
