I need help diagnosing a drive line vibration. It comes from the front of the truck, and only when letting off the gas (as if to shift) from highway speeds. If I had to describe it, I would say that it feels alot like hitting the rumble-strip on the lane edge. It appears when unloading the drive train, goes away when I re-apply the gas and started after my last modificaions. My current setup is: RTE 3 inch springs RTE radius arms Tom Woods double cardon shaft GBR 4.11 gears Tru-trac front diff Everything is tight, the gears are setup correctly, the tires have been recently balanced, and having the vibration dampener on or off has no effect. Would appreciate the input. Thanks Mark |

Thanks for the suggestions, but I'm a bit confused. Seems to me that if the RTE radius arms are junk and mis-aligning things, it would set up a constant problem. Unless there is just slop in the radius arm bushings allowing the whole axle assembly to move. Another question is: How many people have dumped their RTE radius arms? |

Did you get the rear trailing links with your lift? |

Mark , if I read your post correctly , you have a front DC shaft and the "Corrected" radius arms. Well , from what I have seen the two dont mix. The DC end is just fine but that one single lonely joint down at the pinion has nothing to cancel him out. What kinda angle you got down there ? Kyle |
