Saw a bit of this program this evening. Profiled the history of the 4x4, jeep, hummer, rover, scout... Nice blurb on Rover. A bit disappointed that they chose to feature jeep rock crawling, Dakar, and Bajha but didn't mention CT.
They did talk about rover being the first to teach owners how to use their rigs off road.

I saw another Hitler Channel show earlier today that mentioned some thing about the "Ranger Rover" Company? :)

The Ultimate Auto show was pretty good.

Technically, when Rover came back to North America in 1987, it was called "Range Rover North America", and only changed to "Land Rover North America" once the Defender and Discovery were arriving. Thus, a lot of folks refer to Range Rover as the company....

However, Range Rover North America never made the vehicles. They were the importer. Land Rover is and was the maker. But I can understand how people misunderstood.
