No they don't.. You have 4 tabs "News", "Products", "Contact", and "Links".. you get taken to the product page automatically but, the other tabs.. Nothing.

Just busting your grapes a little. :)

Like the antenna mount. Reminds me of the Zeds :) I take it you have to use an NGP antenna with it mounted like that and forward and rear transmission range suffers a bit.

Kyle

Not nearly as much as it suffers when its broken off.. :) Mine actually still picks up for around 5 miles or so.. SO not bad really.

Funny thing about those e-mail addresses, you don't get it right, the message doesn't get where it belongs!

Maybe I did waste all those years in college, along with my youth!

You might have gotten an e-mail from me unless I screwed it up again!

Again, good luck!

Kyle, you and I spoke via e-mail a couple times about your bumpers but at the time you were unwilling to ship, I guess that's not the case anymore. I was just about to order an ARB in the next couple of weeks but I still like the look of the LRNA grill guard. I know what you were asking before, if I supplied my own grill guard (which I don't have... one of the reasons for the ARB) so please e-mail me with pricing for a complete bumper w/ guard if you don't mind. I know this is a part time thing with you and the wait list is probably a mile long, but is this a 2 - 3 month wait sort of thing or even longer... that's the sort of info I'm looking for... thanks...

Way to go Kyle.. :) Glad to see you in the game. Will your HiLift mounts work on an AB 50X50 rack like the one on Blake Luse's rig? About to order a rack soon and would love to order some mounts form you.. Peace.. Robert.. trying to not piss you off this time:)

If the AB rack you are refering to is the Surco rack, then it is square tubing. Kyle's are designed for 1" diameter round tubing, like that on the Adventure and Expedetion racks.

Kyle,
Downside - the white light on the opening page mesmerized me, caused something like a flashback and I woke up drooling on my desk half an hour later.

Upside - if you combine that effect with a short audio message like, "Buy two bumpers in case the first one gets dirty", you will be able to quit your day job in no time. LOL.

I'm always glad to see more quality options out there. Especially from someone who seems to take a genuine interest in their products and the end user rather than just pumping out a million of something that will fit a rover, a ford, a landcruiser, etc. but doesn't work well for any of them because it's so generic.

Anyway, I'm rambling. Probably a side effect of the white light episode.

Rick

Dude, I hate that word.. Legacy.. I'm sick of hearing that one. People have been calling the network that I configure every day the "Legacy Network".. Drives me nuts. F'n web hosting bastards think they know every thing. The sales pukes are even worse. They don't know a damn thing other then IP.

Kyle:
I've been laid off several times and had to run home to my parents twice! Lost a beautiful condo in downtown Fort Wayne. had a really nice place in yuppie heaven in Balto. too-that one got ugly when I had to break the lease.

Have had to start over too many times. Only avoided bankruptcy by avoiding my creditors for awhile until I could answer the phone without cringing.

At one point, I was the VP of a huge lab that lost a big contract with a major oil company the week after I moved to Baltimore for the job. That job lasted 69 days!

Another time, I got laid off from of all places, an electric utility, when they decided to downsize their environmental department. Obviously, they downsized more than just environmental as a local police officer and another guy got burned because this same electric company can't respond to downed lines!

It is really a sad commentary on our society when so few exercise so much control over not only individual's lives, but the economy of such a great country.

Keep your chin up and get welding!

Posted on Thursday, August 01, 2002 - 02:02 pm:   Edit Post Delete Post Print Post

I think I do Kyle, it means you are going to lose your job just like at some point I may lose mine. Every one around here is IP and Web Hosting... Me and my Frame Relay Network are just left over crap that they haven't figured out how to get rid of yet and still keep the customers. You have UUNET and World Comm screwing you. I have the top brass that don't know what they want this company to do or be. They can't make up their minds but, they are doing a great job of getting rid of people and making the rest of us suffer.

LOL , that was pretty good.. :) MCI is suffering right now for something that was not done by them. Thats why I mention Legacy. But as You said , it doesnt really matter much to the little guys that just lost everything that was supposed to carry them in their retirement... I am amazed at how well most of those folks are taking it. Its a big chess game man , my next move is to Ashburn I think.... Poor Disco.....

Kyle,
I was legacy MCI as well. I left right after Bernie assimilated the company along with the 60 other companies he chewed up. It was a good place to work for me and I still have a lot of friends there. A lot of friends that are getting screwed hard. Massive loss of 401K because of all the company stock matching and praying to dodge the axe but sick because they know that there is just more sh*t around the corner. I enjoyed my time there and it sucks to see what's been done to the company.
