About 30% of the time, my ignition key will not come out. I have to restart the engine, move the shifter from park to neutral back to park, then try to shut down again. I'm not sure if any of that does anything...but at least after this I can then remove the key. I've tried pressing on the brake when removing, not pressing on the brake, shifting hard into park (after stopping of course!), shifting easy,... Also checked to see if daughter put gum in the switch What could be wrong? |

Paul, it's possible that your key is worn. Try getting a key made by the dealer using your VIN number, not your key. |

paul you need to lube the button on your shifter handle...spray some lube in around the button and work it a buncha times till it snaps back out,the button needs to snap out or the key interlock wont release. |
