I just had a quick question, does $160 in shipping charges from Ohio to WA sound high? This is for an expedition rack so I anticipated $100 or so, just $160 sounds high, is there any cheaper way to go (I beleive this is w/ American Freight). Thanks.

Could be about right. Cost me 80 bucks to ship a drive shaft from VA to CA via 2 day fedex

That's about what it cost to ship an ARB bumper from Washington to Indiana.

The sad thing is that we could probably ship ten items for less than twice what one costs!

No, but that would be pretty funny. I live in Spokane. Are you in WA? I need to get over to seattle it sounds like there's a good group that does trail rides over there. Never seem to have the time though.

I have yet to find anything funny about Lynden, WA. Strange is a term I'd use.

They actually have a lady that comes around in a horse drawn wagon when you move in to town and welcomes you. No joke.
It's a nice place for a family though, but a bit odd.

If it will fit ship via Greyhound. Most recently I shipped a 1932 Ford fender from NY to WA state and it only cost me $32.00

What did that rack end up selling for if I may ask? I would have been bidding as well but was having outpatient surgery yesterday when it closed.

Looks like it was Lynden, otherwise the coincidence in logon names is scary.

Went for $440 with a few dings and scrapes.

I think someone not too long ago said Greyhound would do the racks, but calling them would solve the debate.

Damn. I would have gone higher. Oh, well. I'll keep my eye out. May have to buy a full size ARB instead.

I'm still waiting to hear on the D2 rack.
