Working on a deal right now for 99 Disco II. Is 24,000 too much? What do you guys think? How much will it be worth in a year if I have to sell it? |

Rob it all depends on it's condition and your local market. Have you looked at other 1999-2000 D2's? |

In Minneapolis I could get a 2002 DII for 24k - 27K. So your price seems bit too high! |

I agree, unless it has a dealer (LR) warranty for an extended period. Otherwise, shop elsewhere. If your looking to sell in a year's time, don't buy anything...you'll lose your shirt on the depreciation, even when used. Especially with the early model DII's, now that the redeigned '03's are out. In a year, used '03's will be hitting the market. |

Depends on the millege... I have a 99 disco II that I bought out when my lease was up. it has 24,000 miles on it and my buy out was 22k. I actually bought it out for 20k. However, I saw a comparable DII on the lot for 28k. (CD, Sunroofs, leather, loaded) |

Options (ACE etc) will have a lot to do with it. I find the comment about depreciation on early D2's interesting since these are the D2's to buy. Later D2's can't be upgraded to have a functioning CDL. Even if most people who buy a D2 may not even know what a CDL is. |
