How often do ign. coils go bad? Would failure to start on the first crank be a symptom of one on its way out? Also is there a reasonably priced replacement (Kragen/NAPA part #)? Thanks |

Look for green corrosion around the seams and cracks in the body. Dont expect good performance out of one that has 100+k on it. Dee |

I would check the cap plugs wires rotor first. Is the fuel pump original? Ron |

Ron, New cap, rotor, wires, and plugs. Pump is original, but seems to be running fine (here it pressure up, no problems while driving). |
