lift hood...go behind passenger side headlight...there is a connection between the headlight and the wiring harness...pull the wiring harness off the bulb...out comes the light Todd |

Well, there is a little more to it than that. The headlight capsule is retained by a really cool little device. There are three keyhole tabs. Pull up and turn so the tab lines up with the hole. Do all three and the nifty little thing pops right out. Oh yeah, there's a rubber boot over the whole thing to protect it from the elements. The tabs need to be positioned just right on reassembly so that it will go back together. Also, try not to touch the bulb, and wipe it down with alcohol before turning the juice back on. Another of the well-thought out designs on the Rover. |

paul, next time just pop the headlamp out. of course, if you do it too often, the plastic part will wear out and your lights will pop with every single bump. but yes, for occasional bulb change, you can just yank out the lamp housing. |
