Sometimes i get in my truck, turn the key and nothing happens. Sometimes it takes 2-3 turns to finally get it to crank. Engine doesn't turn over or anything. Starter going bad? |

Questions:
What year is your truck?
When you get in and turn and it does nothing, do you try to start it a couple of times with it still in the run position, or, do you turn it all the way back off?
My '99 would sometimes not even turn over.... it wouldn't start if you kept trying to start it from the on position, but if I turned the key back over all the way to off, let it sit a sec or two, then try, it would fire up.
As far as I could tell, it's just Lucas....

Its a 97 and I do try to start it in the run position. Turning the key back off is the only thing that works. |
