Hey all,
I'm getting tired of waiting for a local fabricator to make sliders for my RRC. Someone recommended Rockware, anyone have personal experience with these? I understand they are frame mounted but there is almost no info on their website. I am talking about regular rock sliders, not frame sliders.
Thanks,
Wes M.

I don't have the sliders, but if their steering components are any indication, their stuff is bullet-proof.

Also, their customer service can't be beaten. I called and explained my situation and dire need for parts. They stopped what they were doing, made my parts and shipped them the same day and I had them the next day.

Sometimes, customer service like that is just an added benefit to a great product.

I have them and have been very happy with them. I have come down hard on them many times and they have always performed well, although I did do some work to strengthen the sill before I added the Rockware sliders.(../17/1598.jpg)

Matt & Paul,
Attica? You guys must be part of the Ohio Valley club, I met some of you in the early spring.
Anyway so Matt you're pretty happy huh? I was under the impression these were frame mounted but yours look like they are bolted to the sill, mind explaining exactly how they do mount and are they useful at all as a step?
Thanks,
Wes M.
ps: a small group is going to Attica next weekend the 10th

I got a DC shaft from GBR and I got the pinion flange from them too.

I don't know if Ike is back yet. I just signed on AOL and he is on for the first time in while so he might be.

You should come down to Livingston next time, I would say that the Badlands have nothing over Livingston.

Those aren't the Rockware sliders, those are just the "mini sliders" that I made to reinforce the sill. If you want I will find a picture of mine and post it later.

They mount to the outriggers from the frame for the body mounts. You just drill two holes in each outrigger and bolt the sliders right up. They have two little snubbers that contact the sill, one under the A pillar, and one under the B pillar.

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Small, small world, eh?

I was in the green Disco, you know, the guy who got lost and almost banned from the place.

They are on Alyssa and my disco.
