I was in Dillon, CO on the morning of Feb 2nd and spotted a different looking Disco. I managed to get close enough for a look and lo and behold it was a test mule for the next Disco. The front lights were taped and masked but were clearly Euro style clear lenses. The rear lenses were also masked, but were also Euro style. The hoood/fender area was taped and masked pretty heavily obscuring any detail. Also the rear lights (positioned like DII) were masked and taped almost all the way up the rear pillars. The front air dam/bumper was a new design.

Unfortunately no camera, and the Landy was not hanging about, so I was unable to follow him. This was definitely a test mule out for some cold weather development. The driver nodded and smiled when I hit the horn, pointed and gave the thumbs up, maybe impressed I'd noticed a not stock Disco (i was in my 98 Disco I) Wish I'd got closer.

You think that is going to be the so called, "Twighlight Disco" for 2003?

Pretty soon it won't even have four wheel drive anymore! How long before they add a cappaccino maker? Give me a break!!!

Nice to see Coniston Green back in the future line-up. I also think that the "differential" you see up front is actually the new dual mud-flap system we've all been hearing so much about for 2003. LOL

I hope the frame stays around for a few more years before unibody...

So which is the 2003? The picture above is way different than the picture in this link (taken from the third post):http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/guest/newnews/media/1-4013.jpeg

The one in this link has headlights much like those of the 2003 RR.
