I have a stock DII and I am going to install locking lug nuts and rotate the tires. What is a safe place for the jack? I have a 3 ton floor jack and stands and was thinking of doing one side at a time using the axle as a jacking point. I have heard using the pumpkin as a jacking point can distort it and lead to problems. Thanks in advance. |

Under the pumpkin is fine (per LR Service manual) but you'll only lift the right side of the vehicle. You can also use either side of the axle housing. |
