This is a Quote from the Herald Sun, an Australian Newspaper in the Car section. Titled Landed gently. Quote "Landrover has developed a Fragile Earth policy for owners of it's bush-bashers. The guidelines have been drawn to limit the damage done to the enviroment by off-roaders. they include being prepared to stop for animals, driving as slowly as possible, and ensuring the the vechicle is not LEAKING OIL or petrol. Though the rules apply to the bush, they are probably just as relevant in the suburbs such as Toorak, where most most Landrovers seem to be driven" Unquote I had to laugh at the mention of ensuring no oils leaks, hey this is almost an impossibilty, unless Rover has eliminated the problem with the new model. My '96er , leaks oil, I can only do so much to what is an inherant prob with Rovers. |
