I would like to hear from anyone using the Kaymar or TJM rear bumpers. Mainly interested in how these bumpers are holding up under use.

I have read the tech piece on the Kaymar, and looked at the TJM at 4X4 connection. I cannot tell with the TJM picutures if the factory NAS trailer hitch is used or replaced.

Just looking for some real world reports.

Thanks, John

John,

I have a rear kaymar with spare wheel carrier fitted.

I can not tell you if it is better or worse than the TJM because I have never seen a TJM :)

But for me it works good. It is strongly built and really looks quite like the stock one.

I am not sure if it gives a better angle, but you can smash it with no problems, i can tell you.

The steel plate use to build it is nearly 1.5 times thicker than on an ARB front bumper.

And for european spec discos like mine, which don't have the US trailer hitch, it gave me the opportunity to have one and get ride of the stock ripper claw that is used for the trailer :)

Well, I didn't have many choice when I bought mine, but I am happy with it.

Best regards.

Erik,
I did receive the pictures, they help out a lot. Looks like the Kaymar will take some abuse very well. Thanks, john
