Some aftermarket places advertise 1 1/16" |

I use a 1 1/16" on an impact wrench because I am too cheap to go buy a 27mm one, it works fine maybe a hair to big but it gets the job done |

I use a 1 1/16. The socket I have also says 27mm in ( ). I use it with an impact and torque wrench all the time and never have any problems. |

not to bust your balls Bill , but 1 1/16" = 26.987499999999997mm a 1 1/16" socket is a little tight, certainly not much at all, but it's enough to bind the socket on the lug and yank the socket off my breaker bar. Especially with the stock plastic-covered lugs. Pain in the ass when you're dealin with all 20 lugs... |

The 27mm works like a charm. |

lol Blue, as i deal with all 20 lugs on a weekly basis, i get used to it also, do your lug nuts have plastic cover on them? mine have some chromed metal shit. already chewed up, needing a 28mm socket, or a 27+a whacker. peter |
