So I fill up my windshile washer resevoir and it all leaks out onto the ground, I take it out and the water is coming from a piece of the rear window washer assembly. There is a small piece of hose that goes from the pump to a little round plastic conneter thing (some kind of valve????) then to another hose which goes to the rear washer. The little plastic connector thing is where the water appears to be leaking from, what is this thing???? I tried to take it off but it show no signs of wanting to move so I decided to leave it alone for now. Anyway what is it and how can I replace it, or can I (or why cant I) just hook the main hose straight up to the pump. Thanks for any help any of you have to offer. Carter |

Carter - that is a check valve that has a diaphragm in it - I replaced mine with an aquarium air check valve a few years as a temporary measure and it has worked fine since - never did get the corerct part. Bill |
