I need help with finding a diagram or explanation of the wires that plug into the back of the stock NAS 2000 DII alpine head unit. I have seen this explained somewhere but now I cannot locate. Can someone please help? I need to know which wires are for which speakers as well as which wire is the switched power. Thanks for any help...Jeff |

Jeff, I don't have my reference material with me at work. Have you checked out www.disco2.com? They have a lot of tech info regarding installs and such. Paul '00 pig |

Hi Jeff, I have seen it here on Dweb and have written it out. Someday, I am going to install a CD changer unit into the dash. www.autotoys.com sells and adapter harness for a cd changer. Anyway Give the following colors a try, hopefully they match. Disclamer: I am not a LR Service Technician. Your best friend is a mulitmeter for wire continuity checks. Black / Red and Black and Brown = RH Front Door and A Post Tweeter Black / White and Black and Purple = LH Front Door and A Post Tweeter Black / Green and Black / Blue = RH rear door Black / Yellow and Black / orange = LH rear door Green with a dark stripe should be the on/off power wire. Verify this by inspecting the fuse box diagram in the in the vehicle. The wiring list posted on the Yahoo owners group looks as if it is for a D1. Hope this helps and good luck Paul |
