Greetings all - I recently purchased a new 2002 Discovery II. I love it! It wasn't until about a week after I took delivery that I ever rode in the passenger side front seat and realized that the seat bottom does not tilt. (It only moves forward/backwards, and tilts the seat back.) On the driver's side you can raise/lower the seat, tilt the seat bottom and seat back, as well as move the seat forward and backwards. I spoke to the land rover dealership only to find out that they removed the extra motions from the passenger side somewhere in 2000/2001. They never gave me a definite reason why this change was made. My question, does the passenger side front seat have the capability to move in the other directions like the drivers side does? If so, do I need to change the seat switch or just remove it from the center console and hook up a few more connections? Any information regarding this topic would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Brad |
