I recently bought a rack on ebay (though I don't have it home yet) they told me that they are missing ONE mounting bracket. Does anyone have one laying around?
Thanks,
Lynden

Guys come on... no one has any info.??? Will the brackets for other racks work??? I've never seen any racks side by side so I have no idea. Help me out if you can.
Thanks.

try www.roverconnection.com

they might have the bracket, you will need one for an Expedition Rack, each is different

good luck

Thanks Jeff, I emailed them earlier. They have the whole set for $160, dealer wants $270... hmmm which should I choose. Hopefully they can sell me one, otherwise I may have one fabricated.

I'm not sure whats included in the bracket kit, but as far as I can tell from the D1 rack I have, the only thing that is replacable is the clamp piece of the bracket and the 3 bolts. The other piece is welded to the rack. If all you are getting is the clamp part, I would probably just try to get something fabricated that will work. All it really needs to be able to do is to clamp the foot down to the rail and in towards the foot. I imagine if you are only talking about 1 point out of 8, you could get something fabbed that would do the job and not look too out of place. Then, when they are all rusty and need replacing, buy a whole kit.

Thanks Greg, I should get the rack today and I'll take a look at it. I'm pretty sure I'll just have something fabbed. I can't find them alone so I'd be forced to buy a whole kit, not going to do that right now. I'll make something work. Thanks guys.

Lynden,
Email me ([email protected]) and let me know if you have a D1 or D2. I think I have one for a nominal cost. Did you get all the bolts?
