Okay, so I want to install ARB air lockers in my 2001 DII, but I don't know the part numbers of the lockers that I need. I think it's either RD56 or RD57. Can anyone confirm the locker number for me? Other than the compressor and the lockers, are there any other pieces and parts that I will need to buy to complete the installation? Thanks in advance, Dan Katzenberger 2001 Disco II SE7 Minneapolis, MN USA |

Dan, do you have the ability to engage your CDL? Later year '01's didn't come with the CDL stud on the transfer case. If not, you may be spending alot of $$ for no reason. If you can't lock your CDL and the front wheels start spinning, all of the power will be transmitted to the rear. ETC will help, but it's not efficient enough to make lockers truely effective in a non-CDL rig. |

I was one of the lucky ones that has the CDL nut on my transfer case. I bought a used DI linkage and have all the parts ready to install later this week. Thanks for the heads up, Dan Katzenberger 2001 Disco II SE7 Minneapolis, MN USA |

You're ready to Rock then. Do it. It'll be great when you have three locked diffs. I recently went with a Tru-Trac up front and Detroit in the rear and made my own CDL linkage. You will be amazed at where you'll go. |
