I've had some problems with the A/C fan and just the fan on for circulating air. I'll have it maxed for 30-40 mins and it'll kick off for awhile on my 95 D1. I come out the next day and it works fine again. Any suggestions? |

Most LR's do this. It's the fan switch. I am not sure how to replace it, although it happened on mine. Someone else will have to post and tell you how to fix it. |

I don't know how to fix it, but mine does the same thing. When it happens I just jiggle the switch and it comes back on and works fine. Hope this work. |

The switch is a real bitch to replace, and to make matters worse, I'm not certain you can buy just the switch without buying the entire heater control assembly. The switch I removed from my truck had melted pretty extensively too. Replacement of the assembly requires removal of the entire center section of the dashboard, too! If you don't have the workshop manual, I wouldn't expect much success as there are several screws that you wouldn't know were there without the manual. |
