Hi, I have a 2002 Disco SE model. I do not have the HK system. From the looks of it, it appears as though the stock radio is not the single din shape. I would like to install an aftermarket single din Alpine headunit, however, I need a dash kit (trim piece) to fit around the head unit. Does anyone know where one can be obtained? Is there an aftermarket company that makes this? After doing a bit of searching it seems as though you can order this trim piece from and OEM HK system? Can someone please help me out?? Thanks so mucH!! |

Have you tried Best Buy or Radio Shack? |

Slip the old one out, measure the hole left behind, cut a piece of cardboard to fit in the hole, check for proper fit, buy a piece of black ABS plastic from Circuit City, put cardboard template on plastic, cut plastic with a rotary tool, and viola you have an installation kit! Chad |

yeah, circuit city or best buy or rad shack all should have the kits you need. but they do charge and arm and a leg, and all the "kit" really is is what Chad described...and maybe mounting braces if you really need to adapt the new head unit to fit the D2 hole... |
