well, it may not be miraculous, but it is to me. as some of you know i had sticky valves and the dealer said valve job. well i used Valve Medic oil additive a month go, and the Disco ran better, but the check engine light stayed on. well, last night i noticed that it finally went off. is there a certain amount of starts the vehicle can have in which the computer will reset itself? it just seems weird that the light would just go off like that after a month. i think the Disco is learning from my Jeep, which has a habit of fixing small problems with itself all the time. |

My RRC probably is a simpler design in engine management, but when my check light lit up it helped to disconnect the battery shortly. The light returned - procedure repeated and it did not return since. Probably an intermittant error and the error code was saved and light kept on by the ECU to let me seek dealers advice. |
