Busted the locking cam again on the drivers door. Locked the doors via the open passenger door, push drivers door lock, close passenger door. Can't unlock via drivers door so the alarm is permanently armed until I can get the door disassembled, and thus, probably won't be able to start the truck. Any suggestions other than pushing it into the stormwater retaining pond and calling the insurance company? Is there a way to roll the drivers window down so I can lock it again and pull up on the plunger to unlock, fooling the alarm? I had already replaced this tiny fragile little piece of plastic once! And, for all the rest of you, when you put the key in and either can't unlock, or hear little pieces fall to the bottom of the door, it has happened to you! Paul |
