I have a 95 disco. When running the a/c,recirc, and rear a/c, all of a sudden the main a/c shuts off, the rear is unaffected. If I turn the blower switch to off then back on it works no problem. Any direction to start looking in? Also, the temp has been running up to hot with a/c use.It hasn't overheated yet, I've turned the a/c off and the temp comes right back down. Thanks. |

It's the fan-speed switch, very common to have happen, most people choose to just jiggle the switch instead of replacing..... FWIW... -L |

Jiggleing will be just fine,I rather spend money on plugging all my leaks (stemming the flow I mean ) |

I've got the same A/C problem, only on #4 and it is gradually getting worse over the last year. I can either wiggle it when it stops or just use #3 once it cools off pretty good. I'll wait until #4 goes out completely before messing with it. If it's like other controls I've worked on, I'll bet you could open it up and clean up the contacts and maybe resolder some connections.
