Scraped metal on sensor

Author Message   SoCalJoe Posted on Monday, August 12, 2002 - 03:47 pm:    I took out my ABS sensors on my front wheels this weekend because the dam light won't go off. Cleaned them off and the area around where the sensor slides in so it seats flush. I noticed on ONE sensor, there seemed to be scrape marks going around the sensor, like something was grinding against it. Maybe a coincidence, but this MAY be the bad sensor. ANY ideas what could be scraping the metal and generating these marks??
