The front tires on my 2000 Series II are 'cupping', makes it feel like I need a wheel balance. The tire shop claims it is a landrover front suspension problem and that all front tires will 'cup' around 10k miles. Is this true? what a waste of money...

cupping is most often due to a combination of incorrect inflation and under-shocked design

better shocks and a closer watch of tire pressure will cure it in all but the most severe cases.

I dont know if there is an D2 front end issue but the stock shocks are pretty crappy at best

IMHO

Taryn,
You didn't happen to go to Piedmont Middle School in Charlotte, did you?

Had to ask--not many Taryns around.

Tate,
We 'Taryn's' are a rare breed, I however grew up in the wilds of Canada, live in CA now.
