If I manually lock the Centre Diff on a Disco II with the engine running I believe the ABS & ETC are still operational. Has anyone (or does everyone) have an opinion on how this setup would compare to a Disco I with LSD's (Traction wise)? And secondly, I have problems traversing deep soft sand. Any momentum is killed by the traction control putting on the dampers at the first sign of wheelspin. Would the above setup cure this problem? Thanks |

Are you lowering tire pressure? 12-15psi is about right for sand locking the cdl limits the amount of power at any wheel and should reduce wheel spin |
