Any idea how to change the bulb on the a/t shifter? The bulb on the drivers side went out (it normally illuminates what gear you are in). Surprisingly, the passenger side is still illuminated.

I also have a weird rattle, or vibration, on the shifter when I accelerate. It seems to go away after you have been driving for 10 minutes or so. (After it gets hot?)

Oh, and its for a 97 D1.

Thanks

chris

You lift off the trim plate, wiggle your fingers down in there to pull the bulb out of the holder, unplug the bulb from the wiring, plug the new bulb in to the socket, insert the bulb into the holder, put the trim plate back on.

Don't do like I did, and drop the old bulb down into the nether-regions, where it remains to this day..... :)
