Great folks, great prices, great service.

I placed an e-mail order on Friday and it arrived on Tuesday-shipping was only 25 pounds sterling-I've paid more for shipping of lighter parts from AB and RN!

There is one caveat though, watch for bills from FedEx for tariffs and duties. I received a bill for ~$13, but it was on a several hundred dollar order.

I started using Mansfield some time ago. They have saved me a LOT of money on parts. I get parts sooner from them than from Rovers North or AB. I've never gotten a seperate bill from them or their carrier. They typically use DHL so I'm not sure why you'd get a bill from someone different unless you live in an area with no DHL.

I've used them a few times without any problems. Great service. I have though received the additional invoices from FedEx but not sure if was for what I purchased from them or David Bowyers. The amount was small so I didn't worry.

I bought two mesh dog guards a while back from them. The parts were cheap, but the shipping was $60plus each and it took 10 days for delivery to Georgia (we have DHL service). Still cheaper than RN or AB for those parts, but I'm not sure about some of these overnight from the UK for $20 claims I sometimes hear about. Just my $0.02 worth, YMMV

Ron:
I don't know how big or heavy your purchase was, but I bought two CV joints, an entire set of wheel bearings, swivel seals, and gaskets for a Rangie and the overnight shipping charge via Fed Ex was indeed 25 pounds Sterling ~$35-$40. I was very impressed. Since then, I have begun using the slow boat from England method and the prices for shipping have been even lower.

Also, depending upon your circumstances, the fellows at Mansfield will refer you to someone local who is receiving a sea-tainer. If you can do it this way, you might be able to get your shipping for free. A friend of mine regularly ships sea-tainers and will ship my stuff for me for nothing if the schedules coincide-I just have to drive about twenty minutes to pick it up. Another friend in Liverpool packs stuff for me so that it will survive the shipping-but, this has not been a problem for me with Mansfield, just LR Supermarket. But then again, some folks never have problems with LR Supermarket.
