I've recently noticed the drain tubes for the DII AC drain directly onto the exhaust pipe. HAs anyone rerouted these?

I can't imagine the cold AC water draining onto a red hot exhaust pipe is good.

Dave,
Why would you think that the AC water on the pipes would be bad? A bucket of cold water on a hot block or manifold would be bad but the pipes are fine.

Don't forget all those fine water crossings...

OR......

You can spend some quality time with your arms up there engaging the CDL. The burned flesh you leave behind will act as an insulation layer protecting the exhaust from A/C Drainage.

I agree fellas. Paul, that's why I have the solenoid kit for my CDL.

But, something doesn't seem right. I rarely do water crossings. But, the constant drip and singe noise caused by the AC drain in the summer just doesn't seem right...

Yeah Dave,

I am researching that right now. I can't make up my mind which route I am going to take.

What's wrong with you guys??? There is nothing wrong with a little CDL burn to start the ride off right! :)

Yeah, reminds me of when I was a kid, getting "indian burns", except 1000 times worse...

Paul,

Yours should be fine cause I left a layer of skin off of the back of my hand trying to unengage your cdl last weekend. :)

My burn is nice, purple and still a little bit bubbly looking, but healing nicely.

Chicks dig scars, right? :)

Greg
