I have a superwinch X-9 that is about 1 year old. I have only used it a few times, and never under hard conditions. I recently tested it, took out all the rope and began taking it in when it stopped and now when you hit the switch, you hear a pop in the solenoid? Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

I would guess that the pop is the solenoid engaging. Check the main winch power. My guess is you either have a short, loose connector, dead motor, or something is jammed. |
