This may seam like a silly question but everyone I have my dif's locked it seems that only the right tires have the same traction and speed. Is it always the right side that locks or not? The two times I've gotten stuck in my disco were due the the dif's getting hung up and when I rocked the disco side to side getting it a grab it was always the ride side spinning together. |

Let me ask you to clarify, you're not meaning that you have your front and rear axle diffs locked, but that your center-differential is locked, right? Assuming so.... If your center-diff is locked, but the front and rear are still stock open diffs, then if you get your entire right side off into something slick, both the front and rear right tires will spin. If you get your entire left side off into something slick, then the left tires should spin. Does that answer your question? -L |

Ummmm, if the right side spins, then that's the side with the least amount of traction, actually.... That's how a differential works, power goes to the end with the least amount of traction. |
