Hi guys, I just bought a 96 Disco SE7 and I love it. I bought a factory CD changer off of Ebay and I am having problems with it. It will load the cds, but it won't play them. After a few minutes it gives me an error on the radio display. Is it a lemon or am I missing something. By the way, I put the CDs in label down like you are supposed to, so thats not it. The radio shows wich Discs are loaded, but it never gets to the first track of the selected disc. Is it servicable? Thanks |

If all the plug are in and the cds are mounted correctly it looks like ebay got you |

When you switch CD is there a noise like it is changing the CDs, Are these home burned CD's. Mine did not like golds on sivler burned CD? It might need a tuneup from an electronic repair shop? |

Mine won't play burned cds all the time, and does exactly what you are describing. It wouldn't play any cds until I cleaned it many times with one of those cleaning discs. Now it will occasionally play homemade cds if I hit the skip button while it's loading. But it is not consistent and is frustrating. My advice is to clean the shit out of it and see what happens. |

Another thought what fate did the CD face from its previous owner, Was this a salvage yard selling on ebay, Did the Disco get pulled out of a swamp. Any way i would not hurt to give it a tune up. if your in the San Diego area i have a great electronics guy |
