right side (if you were sitting in disco) inner fender under the hood. It is located under a black plastic cover, attached to the inner fender beside the washer fluid jug. The plastic cover has two plastic 'plugs' holding it on. If you remove the cover, it's best to get two new plastic plugs from the dealer to replace. You want to try and keep water from coming in... |

If it a non-GEMS Disco, then I believe it is inside behind the passenger side kick panel. Bill |

If you open the CPU, ECU, whatever you want to call it, do as John says with the new plugs and/or seal the whole plastic case up with silicone. Even if you have never taken the cover off before, rain water can get into it and fry the thing. They aren't that cheap to replace so the $5 tube of sealant is worth it.
