Was wondering if someone with a 96 or 97 could take a look at the colors of both the connector and the wiring harness (4 wires?) that go to the factory fog light switch. I've been searching on and off for about 2 years and I've yet to find that little bastard - now I'm determined to find it even if I have to take the dash out! LOL |

Bill, I have the connectors, although I have not yet installed them. I still use the little IPF pod switch. What exactly do you need to know? The wiring connections? Wire color codes? Or the connector colors? If it's for aux lights, you'll be better off wiring in the factory switch to the aux. lights new harness (i.e not using the LR fog harness). There is also a very possible chance that you simply don't have the harness. Not all D1's came with it. I didn't have it in my 1996 SD. Remind me to show you the connectors at the club picnic (and to bring back your hub nut socket!). Tom P. 96 disco |

Thanks tom, I'm looking for the connector color and the wiring color codes. I assumed all of them had the harness since I have the underhood portion of the foglight harness. Tom B has has a 96 SD and his had the connector. Thanks and see you then Bill |

Connector color is white. The RRC has the same connector, but it is green. You could look at the Rangie to get an idea what you are looking for on the Disco. I think it is hit-or-miss, model-to-model, like the heated screen connector ;-) Tom |
