I just got a used LR Adventure roof rack and it came with two hella black magic lights that were never hooked up. I am planning on conneting up the lights with a relay etc. That's the easy part for me, but I was wondering what the best way is to run the wiring from the battery up to the rack. I have a dual battery set up will run the lights off my accesory battery. Is there a clean way to run wires and not drill any holes anywhere? Any suggestions? Thanks, Dave |

Run the wires down the front A pillar. Drill small holes in the rubber trim strip and zip tie the wires to the rubber trim piece. Put the relay on the fire wall and then run the wires up to the battery. Thanks, Mike B.

Oops. The pictures are larger than 50K. I'll try to get something posted on a website somewhere. Thanks, Mike B. |

With my lights, I ran the main wires for the hellas as Mike says, up the A pillar. Then afterwards I added 500W of side and backup lights, and this time I grounded the roof rack with a grouning strap to the frame (just inside the back door post - can't really see it) and only run the positives up to the lights. Half the wiring this way. Dean |
