Are the Safari Guard Suspension systems worth the sizable investment? What about their third (center) link system? Is anyone running one?

Thanks for any input,

Kris

If you search the BBS you should find many discussions on this. I would call Rovertym instead of SG. Undecided about the 3 link. SOme people call it a lawn chair, some say it sucks, others say it is great.

$G's suspension is not very good. High rate of breakage and $G generaly has horible customer service. I don't know about 3-link first hand but have heard they break alot as well. To me it's not worth the investment into most of the products.

What kind of trails do you run?

I disagree on the customer service asspect of SG. I have bought very little from them but, I did buy and return some things and I must say that the two ladies that I talked to were very nice and very helpful. I haven't delt with them offten but, the one time that I did they had very good customer service. Can't say any thing about their suspensions personaly though, as I have never used any of their stuff. I do have Rovertym products on my truck and they have held up great.

i have the sg 3link under my disco so have friends of mine in the san diego club uptill now it holds fine.
i like the idea that i could adjust the axle angle when i lifted my truck back to original and that the trackrod wich runs behind the axle now is good protected within a part off the 3-link

if your thinking off upgrading to longer shocks/spring the ome setup stops at 10" the 3link will handel 12" with ease

Does this mean "roald" will soon equal "rolled"?
