the other day the cruise on my 97 disco was working fine. then the next day it would work for a minute and then begin to slowly lose speed. now it just doesnt work at all. i can feel it trying to kick in when i press the button but it just slows down like it would normally with my foot off the accelerator. anyone else have this problem and is it something i can fix myself? thanks... |

if you carefully wrap bailing wire around the duct tape patch, everything should be A-OK. Chewing gum will work, too, but it's not a permanent fix like the duct tape and bailing wire. |

you might find that the split is right at the connection. cut off the split area cleanly (if it isn't too big) and reattach to the connection. |
